We are going thru some of my late grandfather's things and found a couple watches. I have had a hard time finding a value on this particular watch.
Here is what I know about the watch. It is a 1969 Bulova Accutron 218 I think. It is has a solid 14k gold case. It is asymmetric and has a decorative pattern that wraps around the top, left and bottom of the face. The face is champagne in color. It also has a date wheel built into the face.
The band is a gold Speidel stretch band. I am not sure if this is original or a replacement. The battery is dead but I am going to take it to a local jeweler and have that replaced. Everything else about the watch looks nice except for it needs a little polish so I am fairly certain a new battery and it will be good to go.
Any idea of the value/potential value of this watch?
